# How many laws can one feature carry?

A chatbot, a cookie banner, a subscription. For every feature I show how many EU laws apply and how to turn them into design and code.

[Browse features](https://featureleague.com/en#features)[Ask the agent](https://featureleague.com/en#zeptej-se)

Behind every feature sits a ton of legal text. Feature League breaks it down so that a developer and a designer can read it in five minutes.

Each one has a preview, the number of laws, the questions to ask and what follows for UX and code. Next to it an agent waits to talk your feature through.

It is not legal advice. It is a guide to what to think about. For a binding assessment of your feature, Karel Navrátil works as an attorney.

## FAQ

The short answers are here. Ask the agent about the rest.

### What is the Feature League?

Breakdowns of one website or app feature after another: a chatbot, a cookie banner, a newsletter, sign-in, subscriptions. For each I show how many EU laws typically apply, what to ask and how to turn the obligations into UX and code. [All features](https://featureleague.com/en/features)

### Is it legal advice?

No. It is a general explanation for developers, designers and product people, meant to show what to think about. Your feature may look different from the one in the breakdown. When you need a binding assessment, write to me as an attorney. [Write to Karel](https://featureleague.com/en#kontakt)

### Who is behind the Feature League?

Karel Navrátil, an attorney-at-law registered with the Czech Bar Association and a frontend designer. I write the Feature League as someone who builds websites and apps himself. [About](https://featureleague.com/en/about)

### How is the number of laws counted?

I count the EU laws and Czech acts that apply to the usual form of that feature. App Store and Google Play rules are counted separately, they are not law. The number is indicative: the exact list depends on what your feature does, for whom and at what scale. [Laws](https://featureleague.com/en/laws)

### What can the agent next to a feature do?

It talks through the design and development of the feature with you: it asks what you are building, compares it with the breakdown and shows where to focus. The answers are generated by AI and may be inaccurate. Do not send it personal or sensitive data. It gives no legal opinion, that is what Karel is for.
